A Hopeful Vistior

Towards the end of March I was over at Lowes and they had hanging baskets of pansies.  It was way early, but I couldn't resist, so I bought two of them and brought them home and hung them up.  Pansies are a sturdy lot.  They got snowed on about five times and had some really cold nights to deal with.  However, now that the weather has improved a little and the days are a little longer my hanging baskets of pansies have found another use.  We noticed a pair of robins building their nest right in the middle of one of them that hangs just outside our front door.  We think it is really cool.  I hope it speaks of the peace and serenity that surrounds our home.

That is the coolest picture! Proof in how it all works and we get to witness it. Love the photo- that's a keeper! You can enter that in the fair!

Yeah those birds wouldn't be at our front door with all the comings and goings of this lot! Teenagers abound.
