Hiking with Avery, Garrett, and Mason

Yesterday., I had the opportunity to experience what being a Grandpa is really all about. I was able to take Avery, Garrett and Mason on a hike. It was a beautiful day to experience some of God's creations. We talked about the beauties of the earth and why they are here and how they came to be. We saw the awesome power of the raging Logan River as it rushes down the canyon. We saw the beautiful flowers and Garett, especially recognized even the beauty of the moss, which was growing on the rocks in the shady and damper areas. The boys climbed trees and tried to skip rocks on the water. We ate our lunch and enjoyed one another's company. For me it was a great blessing to be out among the beauties of nature hiking with three of my awesome grandsons. They are growing so fast and learning so much and I am very proud that they are a part of our family. Thanks boys for letting me be a part of your day. I hope we can have some more days like this.

Pausing along the trail, Mason, Garrett, and Avery.
Every boy likes to climb trees, Garrett is a boy.

Avery hiking through the mountain meadows.

Mason found a tree, or should I say several trees to climb.
These boys are awesome, and their Grandpa loves them very much.
